February, 2008: Model Cleaners and Uniform
Model Cleaners and Uniform is the Chamber’s February Member Spotlight. Started in the early 1900’s, it was taken over by the LaCarte family in 1985. Since then the company has grown rapidly and now employs 200 full and part time employees. They recently bought Fidel Cleaners, a six-store chain out of Bridgeville which increases Model’s locations to 14 stores, increasing employment at the Charleroi plant by 10 and an additional 10 people more will be employed at the store locations.
